About Theatre1

Our mission is to bring off-Broadway and off-West End musical theatre to local audiences—rarely performed gems, staged with ambition and heart.

Founded in 2015, Theatre1 is proudly amateur in name and uncompromising in standards, striving to make the highest quality theatre in the area.

We present one concert and one full show each year and are based at Crown Wharf Theatre in Stone, while welcoming cast members from across the county.

We cast for each production as needed, operate as a non-profit, and are members of Stafford District Arts Council.

Meet the Founders

The creative team who has shaped Theatre1’s voice across a decade of Off-Broadway and Off-West End inspired productions.

David Reynolds

Director - David is the creative vision behind Theatre1, leading productions from inception to stage with passion, expertise and haze. Lots of haze!

Laura Foxcroft

Musical Director - A graduate of Birmingham Conservatoire Laura brings the musical magic to Theatre1’s performances. Theatre1 is well known for it's strong harmonies and powerful singing.

Natalie Dale

Technical Manager - Natalie crafts the visual and technical world of each show, creating immersive theatrical experiences.

Roger Foxcroft

Secretary - Roger produces Theatre1 shows, ensuring the creative team have all the support they need.
